HomeWorld Announces New Display Village At Box Hill

October 6, 2016

HomeWorld, is pleased to announce the development of a new display home village at the Hills of Carmel estate in Box Hill, New South Wales.

Construction of the 110-lot village is expected to begin mid next year and will display the broadest range of new home designs from 36 of the state’s leading building companies.

HomeWorld, Chairman, Mike Scott said: “We’re thrilled to announce the development of HomeWorld Box Hill on prime housing land in the Hills of Carmel estate in the booming North West growth center of Sydney.”

“We are proud to be extending our association with the state’s leading home builders to create our best village yet. The new site will display the widest range of housing options – from large prestige homes through to more compact living designs. There really will be something for everyone.”

In addition to strong demand for new homes from growing families in new communities in the North West, Sydney also has an ageing population, which is driving the knock-down rebuild market and interest in intergenerational housing options such as duplexes and granny flats.

A wide range of housing options will be on display in response to the growing demand for more housing diversity in suburban Sydney.

HomeWorld Box Hill will be situated less than 10 minutes from the new Sydney Metro rail line and Rouse Hill Town Centre, and 10 minutes in the other direction from Windsor and Hawkesbury River. The Department of Planning expects the recently rezoned suburb of Box Hill to eventually be comprised of 9,600 dwellings and a population of more than 28,000 people.

Hills of Carmel, project manager, Bob Welsh said: “We are thrilled that HomeWorld has chosen The Hills of Carmel, a 2,200 dwelling,  master-planned estate, as the location for its new village in the growing Hills Shire area.”

“As our development starts to take shape, we are looking forward to integrating the HomeWorld Village into our larger estate and to work with the home builders to provide exactly what home buyers are looking for” he said.

Since its establishment in 1986, HomeWorld has grown to a cooperative of more than 40 member builders across NSW, with more than 210 different home designs currently on show at three display villages in Kellyville, Camden North and Thornton, with two new villages currently under construction on the Central Coast and a second village at Camden North.
HomeWorld offers home buyers the opportunity to speak directly with Australia’s leading competitive home builders and to access inspiration for single and double story homes and duplexes.
