1. Extra convenience
Most of the homes at Marsden Park not only feature at least two bathrooms, they also offer an added ‘half bathroom’, which is an additional toilet and washbasin separate to the other bathrooms. Perfect for a big family or a home with guests and family friends pop over regularly, you can never have too many options.

2. Double sinks
“His and hers” sinks as they are sometimes called provide a greater sense of space and are perfect for couples who need to use the bathroom at the same time – which is often the case! Remember to ensure good cupboard or shelving in the bathroom as double sinks take up more bench space.

3. Tapware
The tapware you choose can add a personal stamp of style and there is a huge range to choose from in many colours and styles (black is big for 2020 if that takes your fancy). Remember, though, if elderly people or children will be using the bathroom, make sure the taps are within easy reach and easy to turn off and on. 

4. Lighting
Whether there is natural light or not, every bathroom needs clever artificial light solutions to make getting ready easier. LED lighting is practical and if you want a more luxurious feel, a statement pendant light and dimmers will do the trick.

5. Space
A spacious bathroom is a joy, but no matter how big or small, there are ways to give the impression of more space. Think glass shower doors, avoid dark colours, and look at cupboards or shelving that go from floor to ceiling as well as vanities with great storage.
